Gabriel Giron is a multi-award winning, national keynote speaker and poet who transformed his life from an angry and violent teen to become the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Speak It Forward, Inc. and one-half of the powerhouse known as Kinetic Affect. Gabriel now dedicates his life to helping others heal through the art of writing, performance and mindfulness.
Having lived in three different countries and six US States, he brings a diverse perspective to his work. Aside from two degrees Gabriel also holds multiple certifications in mindfulness training and trauma-informed therapeutic healing and as a US Army veteran, cancer survivor and Executive Director/CEO he has learned how to utilize effective wellness techniques to manage stress in high pressure environments and enjoys sharing what he has learned with others.
Credell “Pete” Kitchen, grew up in a household where abuse and violence were a part of everyday life. Pete found an outlet for his rage while studying martial arts and soon become a junior olympic medalist. Years later a chance encounter helped him turn his troubled path into an avenue to reach youth who were making the same bad choices he did as a teenager. Once Pete made the choice to leave his past behind him and turn his life around his passion for martial arts helped him become a personal trainer and mindset coach for people all across Michigan. As his reputation grew so did his opportunities to use his gifts. Pete is now the co-founder and Executive Director of the Counterpunch Academy, a non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth while instilling a sense of personal empowerment and discipline to those most in need.
Pete is now one-half of the highly dynamic duo knows Kinetic Affect. He uses his platform to help others as a high-profile mindset coach and youth mentor, sharing his story of overcoming trauma and using obstacles to achieve success and finding one's purpose.
